...you could say that the exhibition...
O3ONE Gallery, 14th and 15th of May 2008
Using black lace we connect diverse talents of Ksenija Zečević, a woman, composer, poet, pianist, and an icon of Belgrade kemp during the 80’s… With a provocative bosom, Parisian red lips, bleached hair, in black stockings, laced petticoat and wearing heavy Martin shoes walking the streets of Europe, America, Belgrade, and wherever else, practicing intellectual martial arts with astonished clerks of cabinet ideology.

Program "Those Who Are Not Forgotten"
On every last Wednesday of the month during the 2007/2008 season, beginning at 8.30 pm, BELEF center organizes series of poetry and music programs on Chamber Scene of the Fifth Belgrade Gymnasium under the name “Those Who Are Not Forgotten”. These concerts will be held thanks to the donation of the Petrof piano, donated to the BELEF center by the late composer Ksenija Zečević’s mother, Mrs. Ada Gergeta – Zecevic.
This is the reason why the first concert, held on Wednesday 31 October at 8.30 pm, was devoted to Ksenija’s chamber, piano and vocal works, many of them performed for the first time, by the prominent artists Aleksandar Serdar, piano, Ljubisa Jovanovic, violin and Dragana Jugovic del Monaco, mezzosopran. Tenor Slavko Nikolic also took part in the program, while the conductor Miodrag Janoski, who made the arangement of Ksenija Zečevic’s works performed yesterday evening, appeared also as a piano accompaniment.
Since Ksenija Zecevic also wrote poetry, drama artists Radmila Zivkovic, Ivana Zigon and Sonja Damjanovic spoke her verses.
On the same night the exhibition of photographs of Ksenija Zecevic, by a professional photographer Vukica Mikaca, was set up in the foyer of the Fifth Belgrade Gymnasium.
The cycle “Those Who Are Not Forgotten” promotes the work of Serbian authors, the most famous poets of the 20th century, as well as the work of the composers of classical, piano and chamber music.
On the next concert, which will be held on 28 November, the artists will perform the Mihovil Logar’s music and read the poetry of Oskar Davico.
The director of the project organized by BELEF center and the Fifth Belgrade Gymnasium is Milena Stojicevic, while the program's editor is Dr. Branka Radovic, musicologist and music critic in “Politika”.

"Requiem for Nikola Tesla" by Ksenija Zecevic successfully performed
After a successful premiere on 42. Festival "Mokranjcevi Dani" in Negotin, "Requiem for Nikola Tesla" by Ksenija Zecevic was performed very successfully in Belgrade as well, in Legacy of Ilija M. Kolarac’s Concert Hall on Wednesday, 19 September.
Numerous guests from cultural and artistic life of our capital were present on Belgrade premiere of this vocal-instrumental piece, such as Deputy Mayor Radmila Hrustanovic, princess Jelisaveta Karadjordjevic, film director Egon Savin, writer Vesna Jankovic, composer Ivan Jevtic, musician Goran Bregovic, drama artists Rada Djuricin, Svetlana Bojkovic and Ivana Zigon and many other, who all share a common opinion that the complete work of the early deceased composer, deserves to be re-valued, so that it can get an adequate place in the history of modern Serbian music, and that, in that sense every future performance of "Requiem for Nikola Tesla" would be fully reasonable and completely possible in front of a larger auditorium than it was the case on Belgrade premiere in Kolarac.
