Collection of Rivers

Collection of RiversThe project "Collection of Rivers" by the Belgrade artist Vera Stevanović started in 1992 and has been appearing in cycles, in different areas, circumstances and situations. The main idea of this many-year project is that water means life and that those who are carrying water are bona fide travellers who transfer these flows with their personal hallmark. Rivers, cities, parks, time, space, personal samples, and towns in movement are flowing through their rivers, in bottles from all over the world. They are pouring into the "Collection of Rivers"/the Danube river basin. The project already includes seas, which have been arriving in bottles as well, from all meridians. River net/ Sea net – Aqua net/ People net networking of people through rivers and networking of rivers through people water, the link of everything and everyone... the life...
