Era Milivojević, with his noneveryday energy, has been taking photo shots of places and situations for a long time; he took more than 20,000 photographs. For this year’s BELEF programme he will use a video camera instead of a photo camera. Daily shots all over Kalemegdan will be shown the next day, throughout the Festival.

The name of the project is the SHOT. The term implies something that already happened.

Era Milivojević

Born in 1944, in Užice. Graduated in 1971 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where he now lives and works. Milivojević is one of the actors of the informal group of artists (M. Abramović, D. Todosijević, N. Paripović, Z.Popović, G. Urkom) gathered around the Gallery of the Students Centre, which in early 1970s initiated a radical transformation of the then visual arts scene. The artistic practice of this author is based on the conceptual art and in terms of media it encompasses all, starting from performance, video to photography and installations. Milivojević is the winner of the City of Belgrade Award for 2005, Studio B award for the best exhibition in 1995 and the award at the 39 th October Salon (1998).
