Miroslav Miša Savić

Born in 1954, in Serbia. Composer and multimedia artist whose artistic work may be divided into three phases: the first phase is dominated by experimental problematizing of music under the influence of ideas of conceptualization, investigation of minimalist music conceptions and opportunities and use of new technological means for making music – video, computers and electronic devices. In the second phase he places his own creative work into a broader context of events related to topics he addressed when creating an adequate music scene, organizing concerts and festivals and leading ensembles for performing new music (OPUS 4, ENSEMBLE FOR OTHER NEW MUSIC, DISPHILHARMONY). Finally, in the third phase, synthesizing experiences from the previous ones, but also as a music teacher (music theory and production) he insists on cooperation with young artists, striving to achieve recognition for universal artistic and music values.
