Nano worlds is the project of an artist originally from these parts – Victoria Vesna, who lives and works in Los Angeles. Her artistic and theoretical work has been based for some years by now on the research in the field of new technologies, computer and interactive art. The exhibition includes three installations from the NANO series (“Fluid bodies”, “Nanomandala” and “Water Bowls”), which the artist created over the course of the previous year in collaboration with Jim Gimzewski, one of the most reputable scientists in the field of nano science and technology. This fascinating amalgamation of art and science opens up vistas of new prospects for interactive features of computer installations, offering to the public a comprehensive perceptive experience and stimulating a proactive relationship towards a work of art.
