Gocoo Drummers are the new masters of Taika. Superb musicians and outstanding showmen at the same time. Wherever this marvellous ensemble consisting of seven women and four men made its appearance in the past three years it received standing ovations for their incredible performances and pure energy on the stage. The music they perform is often likened to a trance. The pounding by eleven vigorous drummers invades the bodies of listeners, takes over control and makes them spring to their feet and dance.

After two successful European tours in 2003 and 2004, the Gocoo Drummers had 34 performances in Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Holland in 2005. In the prelude to the official opening of the Belgrade Summer Festival, they will present themselves to the Belgraders at the Sava Centar venue on July 6.
