Spaniard Susana Prieto and Greek Alexis Muzurakis met at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid. Since 1999 they have been performing under the name of Guitar Duo Melis. Their prodigious guitar education received at music schools and academies in their respective native coun-tries and subsequent advanced studies in The Hague, Leipzig and Berlin culminated in their brilliant triumphs at some of the most influential European classical guitar contests.
