Performance Defying the laws of physics we create new Art
The spot directed by Jelena Markovic
The project was conceived as a multimedia event,
which explores and visualizes the interlude of different levels
of reality with the aid of conjuring and/or magic.
By combining video, animation, stage motion
and costume the unobstructed movement through the various planes
of visible has been achieved, with the literal jumping out of
two-dimensional screen into the real space.
Distancing from everyday position of reality,
displacement within the frames of logical, default, experiencing,
points to the possibility of a different view, and a new impression.
Not only that slithering of the ratio opens the space for anillusion,
magic, but it brings as well, a dilemma of the analytical approach
itself. This relates especially to the art and its non-consignment,
dodging from attempts of sorting, classification and reducing
to recognizable.
