Robinson Crusoe – a life on the island
A theatre – playground monodrama for children.
On the most popular Belgrade isle, Ada Ciganlija, a new space,
a theatre-playground is being created. It is located in the ambience
of a tropical isle. Funny looking tropical swings, merry-go-rounds,
climbing objects, toboggans, the sand castles and yards on the
Robinson isle are there to teach children how to survive in the
nature. Robinson brings to life long forgotten skills – how to
make a bow and arrows, how to learn to use them, how to make a
fire, how to weave a basket ...Robinson alone is threading the
same road that the mankind has crossed turning from grape collectors
to craftsmen, spanning thousands of years of human progress.
