21,00 - KULTURNI CENTRA Beograd
- galerija Artget, Trg Republike 5/I
predstavljanje prethodnih radova učesnika ALA projekta i diskusija
o projektu:
Brojnost umetnika i još veca produkcija
umetnickih dela dovodi do toga da svako pojedinacno delo biva sve manje
Radovi nastali
duha i izgleda jedne dragocene i specificne prirodne, sportsko-rekreativne
vreme.
o postavljenim radovima:
Ingrid Falk i Gustavo Aguerre (Švedska)
Vreme isceljenja
u zemlji,... necija senka, nestala osoba, rana u zemlji, uspomena. Svi
kreveti imaju oznake sa imenima povredenih (odnosno, imenima posetilaca
Ade koji samim svojim prisustvom ucestvuju u projektu). Proticanjem vremena
pocinje i proces isceljivanja, cemu doprinose trava i sama priroda. Spaljene
konture polako postaju ponovo zelene. Život se nastavlja, a oni koji ostaju
- uce da žive sa uspomenama.
Antoon Versteegde (Holandija)
Koncentricni krugovi
- projekat dva
Isti krugovi
Koncentricni
krugovi se javljaju i u životu, sugerišuci interaktivnu komunikaciju umetnika
i posetilaca.
Snežana Skoko (Srbija)
Suncani ekrani
Platna
reklamiraju prirodu samu. Reklamni bilbordi su postali deo nove slike
grada odakle je priroda proterana.
Ovi platneni suncani ekrani vracaju nam zaboravljenu sliku prirode.
Dragana Marković (Srbija)
Odraz
Istorija umetnosti je puna vrhunskih primera pejzažnog slikarstva. Voda
ljudi.
Žolt Kovač (Srbija)
Nevidljive slike
Povezivanje medija slike i umetnosti zemlje (land art) nudi zanimljivu
kombinaciju.
postavljena u parku Ade. Tako se dobija nova pozicija slike: konkretna,
pristupacna, komunikativna, a opet nevidljiva, utopljena u prirodu i na
taj nacin bliskija samoj prirodi.

the presentation of the earlier artefacts created by the participants
of ALA project and discussion
about the project:
The position of an artist nowadays is different in comparison with his/her
position in the previous epochs when only chosen and inspired artists
created works of art. A number of artists and enhanced art production
have led to the present state when every single work is being barely noticed
and there is less time for perceiving and contemplating it. Site-specific
projects are not new to the art scene, but their interpretations are.
An artist reacts not only to a given physical space, but also to its social
and historic context. The works of art created within this project do
not treat only the location of Ada Ciganlija, but also our "existence"
in this region. This projects tends to redefine the spirit and features
of a precious, specific, natural sport and fitness oasis situated in an
extremely urban metropolis envirnoment whose function was and still is
a bit of a problem even today.
about the works:
Ingrid Falk and Gustavo Aguerre (Sweden)
Healing time
- A Temporal Monument For An Unknown Civilian
The first things one coming to Ada sees are the metal constructions of
hospital beds that frame burnt human contours. Coming closer one notices
a person burnt in the grass lying in a bed made out of grass, lying buried
in the ground,... somebody's shadow, a missing person, a wound in the
soil, a memory. All beds have tags on with the names of the wounded (the
names of the people coming to Ada, who participate in this project by
their very presence). The process of healing starts in the course of time.
Growing grass and the very Nature contribute to it. The burnt figures
are going to become green again. Life goes on, but those who stay learn
how to live with their memories.
Antoon Versteegde (The Netherlands)
Concentric circles
- Project 2
Around the lake of Ada bamboo constructions are set up with spread linens
painted with concentric circles that let wind blow through them. The same
circles appear in the waters of the lake in which these bamboo objects
reflect representing an interactive communication between artists and
visitors.
Snežana Skoko (Serbia)
Sunscreen
On the location of the lake impregnated white linens are set up vertically
and horizontally on the ground capturing shadows. They correspond to commercial
billboards and electronic screens, but without having any message. These
linens advertise the very Nature. Billboards have become a new part of
the city image from which Nature has been banished. These linen sunscreens
bring us back that forgotten image of Nature.
Dragana Marković (Serbia)
Reflection
Art history abounds in the first-class landscape paintings. Water has
been inspiration and an issue in the art of painting for years: how to
present the nature/essence of water. A "field, made out of square
pieces of glass, is set up by the lake. Watching from the distance it
imitates the nature of water, its rippling and shine, but being done in
a concrete material it bears a new meaning. It is not just an image of
water, but also a content carrying "the reality" of water within.
However, this mirror carries its own reality as well - the very Nature
and people reflect in it.
Žolt Kovač (Serbia)
Invisible images
Linking media images and land art offers us an interesting combination.
Paintings are exhibited mostly on the gallery walls. Setting them in the
exterior, the process of perceiving them is broadened and the place for
contemplating them is created. Military camouflage linens are being set
up in the frames, instead of paintings, in the park of Ada. A new position
is gained: concrete, accessible, communicative yet invisible, conjoined
with Nature and, thus, closer to it.
