o predstavi:
Cie.Willi Dorner izvodi dve tematski bliske koreografije u toku jednog
nastupa. Koreografska poetika Vilija Dornera (Willi Dorner) u ovim predstavama
i igre/plesa.
i "zvučanje" reči oponiraju jedno drugom.
ostaje potpuno netaknut.
Konstrukcija novih struktura u jeziku pokreta upućuje na pitanje odnosa
izmedju slobode i strukture.
pokreta.
Kroz predstavu "not at all" Dorner ispituje fenomene "iskljucenosti",
"apsurda" i "slucajnosti", primenjujuci sistem poretka
i nejasno definisano.
No, i pored spekulativnosti ove vrste, predstava obiluje humorom koji
se, osim kroz pokrete igrača, ocituje i na video-ekranu, dodatno podcrtavajuci
znacenja plesa na podijumu.
o autoru:
"Aleksandar" tehnike. U svom radu pokušava da spoji moderni
ples, kontaktnu impovizaciju i tehniku opuštanja.

19,00 - threeseconds - "Raša Plaovic" Stage
20,00 - not at all - "V Floor" Stage
dance performance and video installation
dancers:Anna MacRae, Helga Gussner, Matthew Smith
choreography: Willi Dorner
production management, sound: Simon Kurmayr
light designer: Christian Piplits
about the performance:
Cie.Willi Dorner presents two thematically
linked choreographies on one evening. In these performances the poetics
of Dorner's choreography is based on an attempt to link the postulates
of structural linguistics and dance. "If dance is a language, how
are we able to read and understand dance?" Doner asks himself. Based
on the deconstruction of spoken language, the language of movement is
taken apart and placed into new structures, providing a space in which
the meaning of a word is put up against the meaning of its sound utterance.
The dancing bodies are moved up close to these structures and are again
removed from them. In this way the central idea of the words and movements
negate each other, whereas the linguistic rhythm still remains fully intact.
The construction of new structures in the language of movement makes reference
to the question of the relationship between freedom and structure.
The dance performance increasingly moves away from a clearly definable
structure in the course of the evening. If in the first part, the question
of the readability of dance prompts reflection, the second part surprises
with sensual moments of perception. "Three seconds" searches
for the individual language of movement and seeks to point out to that
which is "unutterable" in language (analogy: that which
is "non-visualized" in dance). Dorner's production "not
at all" attempts an approach to the phenomenon of the excluded, the
absurd and the coincidental. Systems of order and rules are employed in
order to filter out anything that is heterogeneous and not clearly definable.
Besides being spectacular, this piece abounds in humor emerging
through every movement of the dancers as well as on a videoscreen which
additionally underlines the meaning of their dance.
about the author:
Willi Dorner's choreographies are
among the most recognizable on the Austrian independent dance scene. He
studied dance at the Conservatory in Vienna. Afterwards he completed his
training to become a teacher of Alexander technique. In his work he seeks
to make connections between modern dance, contact improvisation and release
technique.
