GAR - BIDŽE ILI IMPERIJA UZVRACA ĐUBRETOM

"Zamislite gradska dubretarska kola kao svemirske krstarice iz filmova "Rat zvezda" ili iz grandioznog serijala "Zaduľbina" Isaka Asimova! Moľda crteľ kretanja ovih vozila mapom grada - tajnu ąifru ili kod - moľe da cita samo neki "Blistavi um"? Na ąta bi licile ulice kada bi gradski dubretari prestali da odnose dnevno smece?... Šta rade veterani iz Hard Core ekipe Gradske cistoce?"...

Ova pitanja inspirisala su Duąicu Kneľević u osmiąljavanju teatarske/apokalipticne predstave gradskih/globalnih razmera.
Art/urbani hepening "Gar-bidľe" ľeli da skrene i usmeri paľnju stanovnika/gradjana hiper urbanog miljea na "nevidljivu", a neophodnu konstantu njihovog (prakticnog) ľivota - gradsku higijensku instituciju i vaľan fenomen dubreta i dubretara. Animacijom se podvlaci znacaj ove institucije, pretvaranjem "nevidljivog u vidljivo", i s tim u vezi ukazuje i na preteci prateci fenomen razmahanog potroąackog temperamenta gradjana, implantiranog od strane novih globalnih mega-imperija (robnih marki), kojem se sam gradjanin, u isto vreme, zduąno povinuje.
Na "krstaricama" se zajedno nalaze ekipe iznosaca "Javne cistoce" i razne beogradske javne licnosti. "Art-intervencije" na vozilima osmiąljavaju sami radnici GKP Gradske cistoce, uz pomoc Duąice Kneľević. Karavan/procesija/parada pracen/a je muzikom i zavrąava se u srcu "megapolisa". Nekoliko gradskih medijskih kuca takodje je aktivno ukljuceno u izvodjenje ove animacije, simultanim emitovanjem muzickih partija koje prate procesiju.

Dušica Knežević u svojim raznolikim aktivnostima spaja kulturoloąko istraľivanje sa teatarskom praksom baziranom na malo poznatoj tradiciji i eksperimentu. Od 1984. bavi se modnim artefaktima i instalacijama, a od 1992. saradjuje sa razlicitim pozoriąnim trupama u kucama.
Autor je, izmedju ostalog, i serijala teatarskih ("modnih") performansa "La regina abbandonata".

GAR - BAGERS OR THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK WITH GARBAGE

"Imagine garbage vehicles as those space ships from the film "Star wars" or a grandiose serial "Legacy" by Isaac Asimov! Maybe, a "Beautiful Mind" could read the itinerary of these vehicles on the city map - a secret code? What would the city streets be like if city cleaners stopped taking our daily garbage away? What do the Hard Core crew veterans of The City Sanitation do?"

These questions inspired Duąicu Kneľević to create theatre/apocalyptic performances of an urban/global range. The art/urban happening "Gar-bagers" aims to call the attention of the inhabitants living in a hyper-urban milieu to an "invisible" yet necessary segment of their (practical) lives - the institution of the City Sanitation and two important phenomena: garbage and garbage cleaners. Animation underlines their importance by turning "the invisible into the visible" and demonstrates a disturbing side phenomenon of an overwhelming consumer temperament implanted by new global mega-empires (trademarks) that citizens themselves bow to blindly at the same time.

The crews of the City Sanitation Department and various Belgrade celebrities are going to be side by side on these "heavy cruisers". The very city cleaners are going to do themselves some "art" interventions on their vehicles helped by Duąica Kneľević.

Music will back up this caravan/ procession/ parade that will end in the very heart of the "metropolis". Several city media houses will participate actively in this animation by broadcasting simultaneously music that backs up the procession.
